Who operates Ticketa

Ticketa is part of the Distinct App platform (distinct-app.com), operated by:

What Ticketa does

Ticketa is a marketplace where event organisers list and sell tickets to their own events, and customers discover and book tickets. Ticketa provides the platform; it does not organise the events listed on it unless explicitly stated on that event's page.

Who you're dealing with

When you book a ticket, your booking is with the event's organiser, who is responsible for delivering the event as described. Ticketa is not a party to that arrangement and is not responsible for an organiser's conduct, an event's quality, or whether an event goes ahead as planned — subject to the platform-role clarifications below.

Pricing, refunds and cancellations

Ticket prices are set by the organiser. Each event's page states its own refund policy — check it before booking. Where an organiser cancels or postpones an event, or a customer needs to cancel, see our Refund Policy and Cancellation Policy for how that's handled.

Payments

Ticketa's checkout is currently in sandbox / test mode — no live payment processing is connected yet, and bookings are not currently charged real money. When online payment processing is enabled, this section will be updated to name the payment provider and describe how payments, refunds, and disputes work through it.

Organiser accounts

Organisers are responsible for the accuracy of their event listings, pricing, and policies, and for keeping their account credentials secure.

Acceptable use

• Do not use Ticketa for any unlawful purpose.
• Do not attempt to gain unauthorized access to another user's or organiser's account or data.
• Do not disrupt or attempt to interfere with the platform's normal operation.

Liability

Ticketa is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, DNF Financial Services is not liable for any loss arising from an organiser's event or a customer's attendance at it, beyond Ticketa's role as the booking platform.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Ticketa after an update means you accept the revised terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
