Cancellation Policy

Last updated: 17 August 2026

Customer cancellations

If you want to cancel a booking you've made, check the refund terms on the event's own page first — that's what governs whether, and how, your booking can be cancelled. See our Refund Policy for how refunds work once a cancellation is agreed.

Organiser cancellations

An organiser can cancel their own event. Where that happens, ticket holders are notified and are entitled to a full refund of the ticket price and any platform fee, unless the event's page states a different policy.

Postponements and rescheduling

If an organiser postpones or reschedules an event, existing tickets are normally honoured for the new date. If you can't attend the new date, contact the organiser about a refund — the event's stated refund policy applies unless the organiser offers something more generous for the change.

Failed events

If an event doesn't go ahead for reasons within the organiser's control (for example, not enough tickets sold, or the organiser simply doesn't run it), ticket holders are entitled to a full refund. Where an event doesn't go ahead for reasons outside anyone's reasonable control (for example, extreme weather, a venue closure, or another force-majeure event), the organiser's stated policy for that scenario applies.

Where an organiser hasn't set a policy

Not every event page states a detailed cancellation policy yet. Where one isn't stated, contact support@distinct-app.com and we'll help you reach the organiser directly.
